Copper

Copper joined our family after our 12 year old vizsla left us 2 years ago.  We loved Loki but Copper soon filled our hearts with love and laughter.  He was the best puppy mostly because he had a best friend with Jeff who trained him and taught him all the tricks.  We live in the country and he was such a good dog to never run away, always waiting on the porch, occasionally visiting a neighbor but still was here when we got home.  Not much of a bird dog, but dreamed of catching rabbits – never did, often tried.  Sadly, our little guy started having seizures around age 1.  We managed for a year but then Christmas this year those nasty seizures got ahead of us.  He rallied Christmas day, but just couldn’t get them to stop.  We love you Copper and know that you are running around chasing rabbits with Loki in heaven.  We miss you both!
